The Data, Analytics, & AI (DnAi) global team is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mexico City office and be onsite 3 days a week.:


Data Delivery Leader

What can you expect?





As a Data Delivery Lead, you are a senior member of our team.
Your role is to drive data strategy delivery for 1+ project pods. You will lead high-performing, Agile-first project teams to create the data and infrastructure required to elevate internal data-driven decision-making capabilities and ensure a best in class data-driven client experiences at Mercer. In parallel, you will work with business, operations, and technical partners to proactively enable business-driven data planning across a 3-5 year roadmap.

We will count on you to:



Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, operations, technology, and data teams to achieve high-impact business outcomes and ROI, focusing on value creation, growth, and customer service.
Manage end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of data products
Demonstrate Agile expertise by deploying agile methodologies and maintaining an agile mindset within delivery teams.
Monitor data portfolio and project risks, working with project teams and engineering heads to proactively mitigate risk.
Coach and support your project teams, be responsible for line management of project squad leads.
Maintain data products in production, owning the Continuous Improvement backlog for the pod to deliver improvements in time to market, efficiency, and quality.
Provide strategic guidance for data, analytics, and AI in existing systems to meet client needs.


What you need to have:




In order to be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

10+ years leadership of high-performing technology and/or data teams.
7+ years experience in agile delivery of data products and infrastructure build.
Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder communication and relationship-building
Project budget, resource, risk, and reporting management
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
Solid knowledge of Data/BI/AI Engineering and Development, Architecture, Test Engineering, and Security best practices.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams, external vendors, and departments.
Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
"Owner" mentality self-starter that can independently manage a data portfolio and guide working project teams to successful project delivery.


What makes you stand out?



Data domain expertise in one or more areas: US healthcare, International healthcare, benefits management, talent and rewards, and/or HR consulting services.
Agile Certification(s) (eg. PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe POPM)
Bachelors in business or information technology, MBA or similar
Direct report people management experience
