CloudWerx is looking for a Data Center Ops Technician - II to join a collaborative corporate IT team, in Phoenix, AZ(link removed) You will have the opportunity to ensure that our data servers and network perform optimally. In this role, you will install and upgrade system components, as well as provide network support. You will also have the opportunity to perform maintenance and repairs on servers, network equipment and asset management.

As a Data Center Technician, you should exhibit extensive experience in ensuring optimal efficiency of data center infrastructure. Top-notch Data Center Technicians take proactive measures to prevent loss of data and damage to networks.

Insight on your impact

• Perform preventative maintenance servers and network equipment
• Monitor and respond to server and network issues
• Run hardware diagnostics and replace failing parts in a timely manner
• Upgrading internal system components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network cables
• Document processes and maintain event logs
• Perform DC audits and inventory management

Your qualifications, your influence

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Center Technician, or similar
• CompTIA ServerPlus, CompTIA Network+DCOPs
• Ability to stand and crawl, duck, kneel, lift and move up to 50 pounds over short distances
• In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment
• Extensive experience installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment
• Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide DCOPs support, and resolve errors
• Ability to keep up with advancements in data center infrastructure and technologies
• Proficiency in documenting network processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to respond to network and server errors after hours

• Ability to travel within Phoenix metro area
• 50 lbs limit
• On-call rotation
