Data Architect
6-month Contract-To-Hire

Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Architecture team with our Fortune 200 client seeks a data architect who will work collaboratively with internal and external development, testing, operations and business teams to modernize ITs data persistence systems and maintain existing data update processes for their core business.
Primary responsibilities:
Design and implement data persistence layers for on-premises and Cloud based applications
Provide technical guidance in modernizing core data architecture
Develop bulk data update applications for on-premises and Cloud based databases
Deliver, optimize and automate data updates for existing business processes
Collaborate with business and internal IT teams for project intake and lead team on solutioning
Provide on-call support for data persistence systems in
Production Skills:
Bachelors degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree
Hands-on SQL development and support experiences in relational and NoSQL databases
Strong problems solving and analytical skills
Experiences in design and implementation of scalable data solution for large scale systems
Working knowledge of AWS Cloud databases
Demonstrated strength in SQL and Python, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL development and process automation
Preferred qualifications:
Strong SQL/PLSQL development experiences in Oracle and MongoDB
Experiences in modeling e-commerce business
Proficient in Unix shell scripting
