Provide Data Architecture and Data Warehouse development to support the development of a data warehouse, data architectures, and data integration platforms for the client site

Required someone who will work with SQL server as the core system for the site Business Intelligence (BI) Data Warehouse. The candidate will also be required to develop data integration job to pull information from various data source (SQL databases, Oracle databases, other) on timed intervals.

Candidate should be able to:

• Provide core support to design and develop data warehouse architectures, data models and integrations for the client site.


• Capture and analyze business requirements for the data warehouse initiatives.


• Define and enforce data architecture standards, procedures, metrics, and policies to ensure consistency across the portfolio


• Guide development teams in data design of complex solutions and ensure alignment with the data architecture principles, standards, strategies, and target states.


• Develop and maintain current and target state data architectures, define strategy and roadmaps to guide transformation


• Identify enhancements to existing data models and integrations systems and platforms.


• Design and develop complex Extract, Transfer, Load (ETL) processes to support business needs.


• Create consistent documentation throughout development process of data warehouse, data models, and the integrations between entities.


• Create and maintain procedures and supporting documentation in support of the data warehouse environment and policies.


• Assist teams as needed with the development of solution architectures that support cloud initiatives, big data and data lake use cases, and traditional data platforms


• Meet with customers as needed.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field (information systems, business administration, computer science.)


• 5 or more years of experience in a traditional data or analytics corporate environment.


• 5 or more years and proven understanding of Data Warehouse, BI, or Business Analysis techniques.


• Expertise in SQL and data modeling, including dimensional data models.


• Expertise in ETL and data integration concepts and tools


• Able to rapidly learn new processes/subject areas.


• Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills.

• Experience within the Federal Government and/or Department of Energy.


• Experience with reporting tools (Microsoft Power BI, Business Objects.)


• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Servicer (AWS).


• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle management including but not limited to software development, configuration management, and software development metrics.


• Subcontractor shall ensure that its personnel meet and maintain the appropriate training, qualifications, and certification requirements as applicable.
