Description

Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a certified Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Some responsibilities of the Data Analyst include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. You will also identify improvements to quality control plans by monitoring performance.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Review data to identify changes in financial and business trends

- Convey the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

- Assemble data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use

- Help other departments reach their goals by providing analysis

- Collect data and perform accurate analysis for various types of business reports

- Regularly examine data reports to identify and resolve mistakes throughout

- Own the maintenance of databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy

- Create business reports that provide insight into key data points

Requirements

- Skilled in creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools

- Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems

- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

- One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst

- Analytical skills that support the development of data-driven reports

- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers

- Understanding of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow

- Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
