We are seeking to hire a Full Time Cypress Automation engineer to join our quality engineering team in This role can be performed in Bloomfield, CT, New York, NY, Lafayette, LA, Denver, CO, Philadelphia, PA, Chattanooga, TN, or Raleigh, NC. Your future duties and responsibilities As a member of the team, you will be an active participant in the full development lifecycle; crafting, implementing and maintaining solutions for Web/Mobile applications. Design, develop, document, and maintain automated functional test cases and other test artifacts, including test data and data verification. Develop and improve existing test automation frameworks (i.e., make them faster, more flexible, and easier to use) Build automation frameworks and re-usable automation tests/test scripts using Cypress. Perform automation testing on web and API. Perform setup, configuration, and maintenance of automated testing environments with a focus on continuous testing and DevOps processes. Analyze and resolve automation-related problems by coordinating with the team to diagnose and fix issues. Perform Code reviews and ensue the quality meets the defined standards. Required qualifications to be successful in this role 7 years of validated experience testing (Data, API, and Web or Mobile) Hands on experience in JavaScript and Typescript programming languages. Validated UI & API Automation framework experience using Cypress for web. Validated ability in business requirement analysis, test design, defect logging and tracking Proven experience in testing methodologies and software testing principles Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment. Experience with test management tools like Rally, Jira Align Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Database/backend testing Experience in Git based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket. Experience with Jenkin & CI/CD deployment tools AWS and Cucumber (BDD) experience is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills Highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learner Flexible and willing to accept change.
