The Cx Manager will support the semiconductor facility mission and work with onsite stakeholder teams at semiconductor facility construction sites to facilitate compliance with the Cx Central Program teams global construction commissioning programs and initiatives. The Cx Manager is active on site leading the Commissioning (Cx) Program, supporting the General Contractor and client start-up and commissioning initiatives.

Requirements of the Job

  • Execute the Commissioning Plan developed by the Cx Program Manager and oversee the Site Cx Lead and MEP Cx Field Technicians. Reports to the Cx Program Manager.
  • Ability to clearly set expectations for project quality planning in an articulate manner to all stakeholders
  • Ability to describe in detail any problems and help others understand what is needed for corrective and preventive action
  • Proven ability to work with internal and external partners (project managers, superintendents, operations teams, owners representatives, architects and engineers, and other project stakeholders) in apositive, productive way that encourages collaboration.
  • Experience collecting, synthesizing, analyzing, and visualizing complex sources of data, ultimately used to derive insights and form recommendations to improve commissioning deliverables.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel out-of-town (typically overnight) for short duration assignments. Expected out-of-state travel is less than 10% of each fiscal year for this position.


Technical Skills:

  • Orientation to detail required by the specifications, drawings, AHJ, Codes of Construction, or any other contract documents.
  • Thoroughexamination of contract documents and subcontractor submittals is a requirement of the role.
  • Proven ability to execute a successful commissioning program based on the Contract documents is required.
  • Ability to hold subcontractors accountable to the commissioning objectives and goals and follow up on issue logs.
  • Reporting: Frequent reporting of Cx KPI's to the project team as required.
  • Proficiency in or ability to quickly learn computer and hardware systems such as Microsoft Office / G-Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel),Bluebeam, Procore, AutoDesk / BIM 360, Cx Alloy, and other information management systems.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software such as P6 or Microsoft Project.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-10+ years offacility start-up and commissioning experience on large scale construction projects.
  • Strong project management skills (e.g. ability to plan, coordinate and execute assigned tasks).
  • Strong soft skills (e.g. effective communicator, works well in a team environment, can maintain composure in stressful situations).
  • Familiarity with various project management and commissioning software programs (Procore, CxAlloy, etc).
  • 3-5 years experience in high tech MEP systems commissioning

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a PM or Cx Lead role
  • GC experience preferred / solid construction background
  • High tech facility experience
