Weaver Stone is looking for a driven, hardworking, skilled, and bilingual/semi bilingual person to fill the role of a full-time Production Manager / Install Manager. Candidate would oversee a programming team of two, two material handlers (and Slabsmith), two sawyers (Fusion 4045 and Saberjet XP2), 7 fabricators, CNC (Titan 2800) and 3 subcontracted install teams. Candidates would monitor the schedule, direct the flow of work, ensure quality at each step, develop systems to improve processes, collect production metrics and solve issues for both the install team and our sales team. Candidate must be a can do happy individual and is open to working through language barriers as many employees speak only Spanish.

A good candidate would be someone who can advise subordinates and solve problems relating to material defects, machine tooling, fabrication processes, quality control issues, installation issues etc. They would be able to effectively manage a dynamic schedule and prioritize work to meet a deadlines. They should be able to have a birds eye view of systems and constantly evolve our processes to higher quality and efficiency.

Production Manager shift can be determined. We run two shifts 7am 5pm M-F (1/2 day Saturdays when needed) and 1pm - 11pm (1/2 day Saturdays when needed). The production manager would likely be the morning shift but could be pushed back later in the day if desired. Overtime is expected, candidate would be working 50 hr weeks.

Requirements

• Some experience in the countertop industry
• Competence or a good understanding of Templating, Programming, Cutting, CNC, Fabrication, and Install.
• High attention to detail
• Ability to QC and solve problems
• Ability to manage 15+ people
• Speaks some Spanish/English.
• Good people skills
• Computer skills
