Vista Paint Corporation, a leading manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of high quality paints and sundries, is seeking a Credit Representative with 3 to 5 years experience for our corporate office in Fullerton.
Knowledge in the following areas: Consumer and Commercial Credit Industry, reviewing credit reports, trade references, extending lines of credit, and knowledge of UCC filings, preliminary notices, and mechanic liens.
Trained in California Lien Law and Miller Act requirements.
Assess credit worthiness and releases orders from credit hold.
Monitors accounts receivable aging reports and contact delinquent customer accounts for payments.
Establishes payment arrangements with customers, maintains detailed record of all collection call activity and conducts timely follow-up to maximize cash collections.
Handles internal and external customer telephone inquiries regarding status of customer accounts.
Interacts and communicates effectively with customers, colleagues, sales personnel and management regarding credit issues, policies and procedures to insure mutual understanding and positive outcomes.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Credit Manager.

Requirements
Excellent communication and phone skills.
High school graduate (some college preferred).
