As a Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing credit risk to ensure the company's financial stability and growth. Responsibilities

• Assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate risk and drive profitability.
• Manage the credit approval process, including the review and approval of credit applications and limit recommendations.
• Monitor and evaluate the ongoing creditworthiness of existing customers and take appropriate actions to minimize delinquency and losses.
• Conduct regular credit reviews and prepare reports on the credit portfolio.
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales, collections, and risk management to ensure effective communication and risk mitigation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior credit analysts and other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk analysis techniques and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with credit scoring models and credit reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
