In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clear and effective system of core courses that will form our church into the way of Jesus. You will also be responsible for equipping and empowering lay leader/teachers, and freeing up our Teaching Pastor to create "advanced" courses and special/as-needed courses.
As the Course Director, you will be a key player in our mission to create a vibrant and flourishing community of believers who are deeply committed to the way of Jesus. You will work closely with our teaching staff and volunteers to develop and implement courses that are engaging, relevant, and transformative. You will also be responsible for overseeing volunteer teams and ensuring that our courses run smoothly and efficiently.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a skilled communicator, a natural leader, and an inspiring teacher. You should have experience in administration, volunteer oversight, coaching, and teaching/training. You should also be deeply committed to the way of Jesus and have a passion for helping others to grow in their faith.

Requirements
A Christian in submission to the authority of the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, as evident in lifestyle who subscribes to and is in full agreement with Church of the City New Yorks Statement of Faith. This is a full-time, on-site role in New York City.
Education:
A High School Level education, or its equivalent, with a baccalaureate degree preferred. Ministry experience of 3+ years preferred. Bible degree (BA or MA) or plans to pursue further education in Bible or theology preferred.

Benefits
The salary is $70,000 - $85,000 per year, and includes the following benefits:
