Our client is a medical device company looking for a Corporate Controller to help them prepare to go public.  The Corporate Controller is a critical position for the organization. The position will oversee the global consolidated accounting function and provide leadership, accounting expertise, and drive collaboration. The Corporate Controller will drive processes and utilize technology to ensure accurate data is available for the management team to make business decisions to ensure legal and SOX compliance.

Overview:

• Conduct months end close including revenue recognition and general ledger, review cashflow, department budget review, inventory reports, and review balance sheet, inventory costing, revenue recognition, and reporting.


• Lead the annual financial audit and control audit


• Oversee accounting activities across the organization to ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory guidelines, and internal process


• Champion change to improve accounting processes leveraging technology to create efficiencies and streamline operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience


• Experience working within a multi-national company is required


• Working within a manufacturing organization is required


• CPA or BA in accounting or economics


• MBA preferred
