Manage monthly accounting and prepare month end financial reporting.
Work with accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate month end close.
Review monthly financial statements and prepare fluctuation analysis.
Perform accounting research as needed to determine proper accounting treatments under GAAP.
Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
Examine financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations.
Create, maintain and communicate written accounting and internal control policies and procedures.
Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures.
Organize and maintain financial records.
Monitor Bank Balances.
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Manage banking relationships and credit cards.
Provide periodic and ad-hoc financial information as required by the executive management team.
Assess financial operations and make recommendations to management.
Advise on ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues and improve profits.
Assist external CPA firm in the preparation of corporate tax returns by providing requested tax information.
