Required skills:

• Must be fluent both in Spanish and English

• certified translator/Spanish language editor from recognized certifying institution (ATA, university, international certifying

organization)

• have CAT (computer assisted translation) tool expertise, ideally experienced working in Plunet, Memsource, or SDL Trados Studio

• experienced with TAUS or MQM quality metrics.

• bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Marketing, Communications or related field and 2+ years experience writing Spanish copy at a translation agency or a creative department

Other skills:

• proven proofreading and copyediting skills across various channels, including social media

• excellent problem solving and project management skills

• thorough knowledge of Hispanic culture in the U.S.

• self-motivated and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
