Coordinate Measuring Machine CMM Service Technician

C-CON, Inc. is a leading provider of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) calibration & service solutions across various industries. We are seeking a skilled CMM Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing installations, retrofits, calibrations, and maintenance on a variety of CMM machines. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer-focused, and possesses excellent technical skills. Specific training will be provided.
Responsibilities - Upgrade and configure CMM machines.
- Perform calibration and accuracy tests on CMM machines to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with CMM machines.
- Perform preventative maintenance on CMM machines to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
- Provide ongoing support customers to customers.
- Maintain accurate service logs and customer records.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for ongoing service improvements/upgrades.S
Requirements - Associates degree or equivalent experience in mechanics and electronics.
- 3+ years of experience working with CMM machines, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of CMM programming and operation.
- Skilled in the use of hand & power tools, electrical test equipment.
- Skilled in soldering and wiring control cabinets and machines.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
- Proficient in the use of dimensional measurement & calibration equipment including laser systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
Salary - Experience dependent 65K - 80K Tools supplied, expenses paid, salary (dependent on experience) plus bonus plus health insurance, as well as vacation and sick time.
