It all started in 1996 when Susan Johnson, along with her husband and family, opened Susans Healthy Gourmet, an innovative fresh meal provider that delivers chef inspired meals directly to customers doorsteps twice a week. As a quality-driven pioneer in the fresh meal home delivery industry, Susans Healthy Gourmet became an instant successand with success comes growth. At the end of 2002 the opportunity arose for Susan to enter a different food arena to provide and deliver healthy frozen meals to homebound seniors. Partnering with several southern California agencies and health providers, Susan opened LifeSpring Homenutrition in January, 2003. Different meals, different clients, different staff, but the same emphasis on health, nutrition, and delicious meals that Susan believed in.

Since its first day, LifeSpring Homenutrition has used only the freshest and finest ingredients available so that in every delicious meal, youll enjoy farm fresh local fruits and vegetables along with the highest quality beef, pork, chicken and fish sourced from farmers and suppliers that have passed Susans rigorous quality assurance screening process.
In addition to LifeSprings exceptional ingredients, we are proud to say that each of the chef inspired recipes on our menu are created under the watchful eye and professional guidance of our on-staff nutritionist, ensuring that each meal comes with optimum nutrition in every bite. Our friendly nutritionist is available for customer consultation and to answer any questions you many have regarding LifeSpring Homenutrition and your nutritional health.

Lifespring Homenutrition is a fast growing, rapidly expanding, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
- Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Handle and store ingredients and food properly
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Monitor station inventory levels
Requirements
- Must have prior cooking experience
- ServSafe certified a plus
4:00 am - 12:00 pm, M-F, some weekends
$18.00 - $19.00 depending on experience and shift.
