XO Bistro is a cozy Vietnamese restaurant in Edmonton. We blend traditional Vietnamese flavors with modern twists, serving up classics with a fresh, local twist. We currently have one vacancy for the Kitchen Helper Position.

Location: Edmonton, AB
Wage: $19.00 per hour
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day for 40 hours per week.
Start date: Starts as soon as possible.

The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

Job duties:

1. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
2. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
3. Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by the dietitian or chef.
4. Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
5. Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
6. Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food
7. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
8. Clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

Experience: 2-3 years of experience.
Education: Secondary School.
Skills: Work under Pressure, Repetitive Tasks, Fast-paced Tasks
Benefits: 4% vacation pay or 2 weeks per year
