FORTECH, Inc. is a leader in providing solutions for industrial automation and control systems. We are seeking a Controls & Instrumentation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that control and instrumentation systems operate correctly and are properly maintained.The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide variety of industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a team environment and has excellent problem-solving skills. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex control systems in a timely manner.Responsibilities Install and maintain control and instrumentation systems in industrial settings Troubleshoot control systems to identify and resolve issues Conduct inspections of control systems to ensure they are operating correctly Repair or replace faulty components as necessary Develop and maintain documentation for control systems Provide technical support to end-users Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Requirements Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field 3+ years of relevant experience Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical) Retirement Plan (401k) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Holidays) Training & Development
