About the Job

As the Content Manager at Planetary Design, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our comprehensive content strategy. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of multimedia assets, including but not limited to photos, graphics, videos, social media, advertising, affiliate marketing, email marketing, blogs, and website content.

Who You Will Be Working With

You'll collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the company's marketing and business goals. Additionally, you'll engage with agency partners, contributing to effective campaign execution while upholding our brand objectives.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Implement Content Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies in line with Planetary Design's marketing and business objectives.
  • Content Creation: Write and produce high-quality content types, such as blogs, articles, infographics, and videos, ensuring relevance and effectiveness for different customer segments.
  • Optimization: Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, enhancing organic visibility and search rankings.
  • Editorial Calendar Management: Develop and maintain editorial calendars, managing content production timelines for consistent output.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions to refine strategies and enhance engagement.
  • Collaboration and Consistency: Collaborate with the social media team, ensuring alignment between content and social media strategies while maintaining brand voice and consistency.
  • Cross-Functional Campaigns: Work with cross-functional teams to create holistic content campaigns that yield impactful results.
  • Agency Partnership: Collaborate with agency partners, ensuring clear communication and shared goals for effective campaign execution in line with the brand's objectives.
  • Content Lifecycle Management: Identify content gaps, recommend topic ideas based on key insights, and support content lifecycle management.

Daily Duties

  • Engage actively on social media platforms
  • Conduct regular website health checks
  • Extract insights from Google Analytics
  • Explore potential collaborations with print shops

Weekly Duties

  • Curate B2B and B2C emails
  • Conduct affiliate check-ins
  • Produce one blog post per week
  • Generate content across multimedia platforms
  • Analyze email and social media performance
  • Participate in marketing team meetings

Potential Projects

  • Big Goals: Develop strategies for Affiliate/Media Buying and Brand Product Videos.
  • Small Goals: Reimagine the Lifestyle Marketing Potential of Brands and Build Advertising Skills

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Experience: Proven experience in content management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Multimedia Skills: Proficiency in handling diverse multimedia assets: photos, graphics, videos, etc.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to extract and utilize insights from analytics tools.
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and best practices.

  • Klaviyo Email Marketing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
