REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, however not required.

P.E. license or EIT is preferred, however not required. 

Experience and certification may be substituted for the licensure. 

Job related certifications (ie. IDOT and ICORS) are preferred, however not required. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

A valid driver’s license

Must be a US citizen



DUTIES

Will work in the Municipal and Transportation Groups.

Providing construction oversight and management on various infrastructures including storm water, transportation, water and waste water related projects. 

Oversee field staff and contractors on the project site and is responsible to ensure quality construction in accordance with plans and specifications. 

Manage activities such as layout, inspection, documentation and pay estimates as well as project closeout/resolve material deficiencies.

Provide technical advice when warranted to the design and construction of the projects. 

Communicate and coordinating effectively with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
