Jacobs Group is a Louisville based General Contractor in search of a Project Manager Assistant (PMA) for commercial construction projects. We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated person to become a member of our project support team.
This position will be responsible for working in coordination with Project Managers, Project Superintendents as well as main office Project Management team on projects throughout the United States.
Requirements
This position will be responsible for working with the Project Manager on all aspects of the project: Permitting/Licensing, utilities, subcontractor scheduling, pay requests, R.F.I's, change orders, working with the design team, subcontractors, field personnel, and maintaining an excellent relationship with the owner.
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent listening skills, strong communication skills, & strong content-retention skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues, including outside the box problem solving.
- Effective participation in team-based project management.
- At least 1 years post college experience working as an Office Engineer, Project Engineer, or Assistant PM on commercial construction projects in excess of $2M for a GC.
- A 4 year construction related degree or experience is desired, but not required.
