Communications Associate needs 3 - 5 years of experience in business or corporate communications role



Communications Associate requires:




  • 3 - 5 years of experience in business or corporate communications role •

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interviewing and proofreading, with outstanding command of the English language •

  • Possess an “eye for design“ and ability to create or alter visuals, or communicate effectively with designers •

  • Ability to effectively organize and manage simultaneous work assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet concurrent deadlines •

  • Ability to work independently to achieve results, as well as collaborate and support team initiatives •

  •  Project management skills; attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality •

  • Advanced level of proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and photo cropping software. PowerPoint and writing samples demonstrating concise writing and design style must be submitted with resume to be considered for this position.



Communications Associate duties:




  • Manage Digital Signage Network which encompasses creation of PowerPoint slides (design and key messaging), coordinate translations as needed, maintain scheduling, and deploy slides through content management system.

  •  Write concise, engaging content (following Associated Press style) to reinforce strategic message topics for internal and external audiences across multiple channels including online, social media and print. Content development includes: o Interviewing key personnel. o

  • Following up as needed to meet production deadlines. o Proofreading and editing submissions from contributors. o Gathering images or video (and supporting release forms), and coordinating with printers/graphic designers, external partners and internal contacts as needed. o Assisting in design of collateral to enhance content and visual appearance. •

  • Coordinate distribution of approved content via multiple channels (including intranet, internet, email, social media and printed pieces). •

  • Store documentation and collateral for assignments in team’s shared database. •

  •  Coordinate content flow of materials for design/print production and distribution of employee magazine. • Create electronic or paper surveys using web-based software and generate result reports. •

  • Assist in coordination of event management, campaigns, or any other communication-related tasks, including support for the department’s administrative needs.
