Job Description

Hiring CMO for a leading series C million dollar multi VC funded D2C startup based in Mumbai. Role - CMO Experience -9-15 Years Max Location - Mumbai MBA - Tier 1 preferred About the Role The Chief Marketing Officer, a critical member of the Company management team, is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the overall marketing strategy which includes digital and offline channels. With a team size of 35+ individuals and Agency, his/her responsibilities will include Communications, SEM, SEO, PPC, Mobile, Affiliate, Content, Graphics, ORM, PR along with various other strategic marketing technology initiatives. He/she will also be responsible to ensure a stable, functioning, ROI driven marketing team that works hand-in-hand with the business strategies and targets of the firm. He/She will also ensure the successful launch and adoption of new products or lines of business. This includes developing effective go-to-market strategies, creating product. positioning and messaging, and driving awareness and adoption through various marketing channels. Brand and PR marketing and communication efforts to a wider brand planning role with a clear impact on leading Brand Metrics such as: Brand Recall, Brand Awareness, Brand Associations, Customer Satisfaction Index and Brand Health closely with the PR team to develop the storyline of the company and Execute strategic brand related initiatives keeping in mind the future direction Performance Marketing closely with the Revenue Heads to develop marketing & brand project scopes, objectives, deliverables and timelines performance marketing strategies and lead end-to-end execution, measurement, reporting and optimization of paid marketing campaigns for lead generation/customer acquisition, sales and revenue generation. in creating annual, quarterly, monthly marketing budgets. Monitor & review the spends in accordance with the budgeted spends Organic and Content Marketing ownership of marketing strategies across all non-paid channels, including email, newsletter, blog, SEO, social, and content. responsible for inbound marketing strategies to build a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online. This involves developing content strategies, growing an online and offline community, and tracking that communitys growth. revenue and lead growth via SEO and other organic channels Offline Channels consistent brand communications across offline campaigns (BTL, Seminars, Colleges, Corporate Parks etc.) and execute campaigns that builds the brand in 20+ cities in India via hyperlocal marketing initiatives alongside the regional branch managers Marketing Technology New marketing technologies, trends and ideas, and assess the scope of application within Company for better processes/ consumer engagement/ cost reduction/ scalability in developing Marketing Innovation Bank with a vision to facilitate 4x growth in next 1 year Gaps and opportunities within existing marketing ecosystem to propose new, improvised solutions Requirements 10+ years of prior experience in a similar marketing role, along with experience in team building and management Sound educational background, preferably from the field of computer science or engineering with a MBA in Marketing Hands-on performance marketing experience with an D2C/ EdTech/ e-commerce platform/ Performance Marketing Agencies/ Disruptive lead gen agencies. Experience of introducing SAAS solutions, tech interventions as marketing innovation Must have a strong analytical mindset with an ability to guide teams to optimize costs, reach and lead gen effort Research oriented, with an ability to sense consumer behaviour and driven by consumer first approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Adept at strategizing, implementing and optimizing paid marketing campaigns with a strategic focus on long term brand objectives
