Access Services is hiring a part time Certified Registered Behavior Technician to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program serving across Montgomery and/or Bucks County.

IBHS provides therapeutic services to children (up to the age of 21) who are experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral problems. The program serves clients in their homes, schools, and communities and is focused on collaborating with families to help children learn positive coping skills. Our vision is for all children to be able to lead fulfilling lives and function at optimal levels.

As a Registered Behavior Technician who provided Applied Behavior Analysis services, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of children and families. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analysis) to help individual children with an autism diagnosis and their families to grow in implementing certain behavioral skills to strengthen and empower each child's ability to learn, thrive, and live to their fullest potential.

Location: Montgomery County and/or Bucks County

Work Schedule:

  • Approx. 20+ hours per week, primarily in afterschool hours (4-6:30pm), with opportunity to gain additional hours/cases and become full time over time.
  • Days/times vary depending on available clients.
  • Work typically occurs on weekdays but can occur on weekends if BHT and family/child are both available.

Key Responsibilities of a Certified Registered Behavior Technician (ABA Services):

  • Provide supports as outlined in the individuals plan of care utilizing approved interventions such as safe crisis management techniques, emotional support, positive reinforcement, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate case notes for the client in an electronic health record.
  • Attend weekly clinical supervision, regular case reviews, and staff meetings.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 2+ years of Applied Behavioral Analysis experience (required)
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is required:
    • Have passed the RBT certification exam
    • Will provide verification of RBT certificaiton
  • Valid driver's license with 2+ years of driving experience, reliable vehicle, and car insurance (required)
  • No Drivers License suspensions in the last 48 months.

  • Hiring bonus of $1,000
  • Starting rate of $24-$28/hourly, with adjustments for education, professional certification/experience in the field, the counties in which you serve, and fluency in additional languages.
