Eminence Home Care CT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! This is a per-diem position in the hospital and healthcare industry. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to patients, while ensuring their comfort, safety and well-being.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to provide professional and compassionate care to patients. Additionally, he/she must be able to work well in a team environment and follow all protocols as required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assisting with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, weight, and food intake.
• Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
• Following patient care plans as directed by the nursing supervisor.
• Communicating effectively with the healthcare team about patient needs and concerns.
• Participating in the training of new staff members and students.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing and registered with the State of Connecticut.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of CNA experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
• Must have a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and respect for patients' privacy and dignity.
