We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator - Medical Assistant to join our team in Lewisville, TX. Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of patients throughout their treatment journey
• Coordinate patient care and treatment plans with healthcare providers, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with treatment plans and follow-up appointments
• Communicate regularly with patients to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns
• Obtain and review medical records and other pertinent documents
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic health records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with the scheduling and intake teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Assist in scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
• Coordinate transportation for patients as needed
• Handle inbound communication and redirect as necessary
• Adhere to all applicable privacy and confidentiality regulations

Requirements

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical assistant or in a similar role
• Experience in orthopedics, neurology, or a related field preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
• Professional and compassionate demeanor
