Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for Carbon Capture Reviewers(link removed) This is a fully remote, temporary, half-time position starting as soon as possible and working through July 7th.

This position will support merit reviews for the Department of Energy Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) Carbon Capture Program.

The Carbon Capture Demonstration Program provides $2.5 billion to develop six carbon capture facilities to significantly improve the efficiency, effectiveness, costs, emissions reductions, and environmental performance of coal and natural gas use.

This program will focus on integrated carbon capture, transport, and storage technologies and infrastructure that can be readily replicated and deployed at fossil energy power plants and major industrial sources of CO2, such as cement, pulp and paper, iron and steel, and certain types of chemical production facilities.

Requirements

OCED requires 4 part time special purpose reviewers for the Carbon Capture Demonstration program merit reviews.

The four individuals should include:

  • Legal expert (in oil and gas or carbon capture permitting and/or IP)
  • Accounting expert
  • Techno-economic assessment expert
  • Landman (someone familiar with pipeline routing and Right of Way (ROW)

Candidates are required ASAP for half-time work through July 7.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
