SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a CT Technologist for its client in Columbus, OH. The person will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your role will involve preparing patients for procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients correctly for optimal imaging results.
Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during or after procedures.
Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring diagnostic clarity.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and procedures.
Educate patients about the imaging process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Ohio.
Previous experience working as a CT Technologist preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
