SUMMARY:

The individual will support MBA in its efforts in the real estate finance industry. Responsibilities include working with industry and college/university leaders to design, implement, market and execute programs to recruit students into the $4 trillion commercial real estate finance industry. Must be motivated self-starter with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to independently set and adjust priorities to meet project deadlines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Work with supervisor to:
a. Coordinate MBAs Commercial Real Estate Finance (CREF) Career activities with a special emphasis on expanding and improving outreach.
b. Help build out MBAs CREF Student Fellowship program.
c. Expand access to MBAs educational materials to HBCUs and others.
d. Support MBAs participation in affinity groups, scheduling and increase participation.
e. Support other CREF Career initiatives.
2 The individual will conclude the internship with a presentation on their accomplishments and insights from the experience.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate should:
1.) Have a strong desire to learn more about marketing and engagement with a particular focus on CREF Careers and Fellowship programs.
2.) Workingtoward or have completed an undergraduate/graduate degree from accredited university with coursework in relevant fields of study, for example Marketing, Business, or similar.
3.) Have familiarity with Outlook, Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc), Microsoft Excel.
4.) Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
