- Work Effectively in cross functional teams to support new product launches and model year change projects
- Track expenses and cost changed and performing detailed cost analysis
- Work with Accounting Team and Purchasing Assistant to resolve pricing, contract, payment and other commercial issues
- Release orders to suppliers on weekly basis
- Facilitate on-going business relationships with suppliers using KPI and regular business meeting reviews, while focusing to ensure on-time delivery
- Advise Shipping Coordinator on Status
- Work with the Shipping Coordinator to ship goods via Carrier
- Support Sales Dept in servicing the customer, by providing timely answers on Supplier delivery schedules
- Support Quality Department to resolve quality / commercial issues
- Tracks back orders and manages overstocks
- Expedites orders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements - 3-5 years experience in supply chain management
- Experience working in fast-paced automotive industry and in purchasing of production and/or accessory parts
- Ability to utilize procurement tool applications and techniques
- Strong financial management, leadership, team work, customer service and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong team work, customer service and organization skills
- Good problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred: - Automotive Engineering background
- Knowledge of SAP
