We have partnered with an electronic manufacturing company in the Malvern, PA area to provide them with a Buy / Planner.

Responsibilities of Procurement:
Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, services, and supplies from domestic and international suppliers Maintain strong working relationships and communications with internal manufacturing personnel and key external suppliers to ensure on-time delivery Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of raw materials and components Collaborate with corporate for long-term planning and short-term material expedites Provide regular forecasting to suppliers Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in SAP Responsibilities of Planning:
- Optimize the production schedule of a diverse group of products across multiple manufacturing lines and shifts
- Proactively report production capacity and material availability issues and provide swift resolution with root cause analysis
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure a smooth phase in and phase out process of materials through the ECN/ECR process
- Revise essential system planning data to ensure our SAP ERP system is effectively planning future requirements
Responsibilities of Inventory Management:
- Support reporting, inventory parameters, counting, reduction, safety stock percentage measurement, and Product Life Cycle management
- Provide analytical support and operational analysis for the organization
- Complete special projects and assignments as requested
Requirements of the Buyer / Planner:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field--equivalent professional relevant experience will be considered
- 1+ years' experience with supply chain(planning and procurement) in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ERP systems--SAP preferred
- Effective supplier relationship skills
- Experience with supporting component needs in a manufacturing environment that produces complex assemblies and parts
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical planning and organizational skills
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally of up to 5-10% per year
