Title: Business Analyst Lead IT
Location: Lisle, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Local Candidates ONLY!!!!
The team is working in the office hybrid.. if candidate will not work in the office three days a week, do not submit.
3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
1. Analytical skills: able to quickly grasp software functionality, business & functional requirements, and customer experience feedback. Able to contextualize and evaluate impacts of reported bugs, deficiencies, new feature requests and to define solutions & approaches to 1) respond effectively to customer needs and 2) drive product improvement.
2. Communication skills (verbal & written): Clear, concise, articulate, adapts to audience. Good listener. Attention to detail in the documentation.
3. Deep experience performing SW development best practices. i.e. Agile/SCRUM, sprint planning, issue tracking & prioritization, defining & presenting solutions.
-We need someone heavily involved before and during the development phase.
-Detailed requirements development work with stakeholders, including electronic control module suppliers is a key aspect of this role.
-Need an expert in clarifying SW feature development requirements for the software development team.
-Doing so will require evaluation of the data and reference material provided to us by our engineering org and our "[vehicle] Service Readiness" organization.
-This role is responsible for ensuring specific data, formatting, and other content are received and validated.
-Developers will be coding client's service diagnostics tool software based on validated inputs and clear requirements that are consolidated and summarized by this BA.
-It is a demanding role with a steep learning curve that requires serious attention to detail as well as follow-up and follow-through with the product owner and various stakeholders.
Purpose
-Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
-Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.
-Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
-Design details of automated systems.
-May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
-May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues
Characteristics/Scope:
-Work is accomplished through independent contributions or project work requiring advanced subject area knowledge and decision-making skills.
-Has wide-ranging experience, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in innovative and effective ways.
-Requires specialized comprehensive knowledge in commercial vehicle diagnostics and SAE standard CAN communication protocols, with depth and/or breadth of expertise.
-Solves complex issues and problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions, and uses applicable functional knowledge and existing methodologies.
-Exercises judgment in selecting the best methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
-Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.
-Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to developing solutions.
-Is recognized as an expert in their own area within their own discipline/function within the organization.
-Networks with key contacts outside their own area of expertise.
Serves as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projects.
-Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
-Trains, guides and mentors other professionals or colleagues with less experience.

Education requirement: Bachelor's degree
Years of Experience: At least 8 years of business analyst experience. At least 5 years of lead experience
