Brand Advocate



Who You Are:

A part-time Brand Advocate who is an emerging leader in Home Appliance, you have previous experience driving sales of client's products by merchandising, educating, training, building relationships with associates, and conducting direct selling to consumers at an assigned set of National Retail stores. In this role  you will build brand awareness and presence at retail in your market, collect and report on in-store activities, assist with sales programs, and collect competitive information within your market to the brand. This position will play a critical role in creating the best customer experience in the industry through best-in-class store support for an exciting company. What You Will Do:




  • Provide impactful training and education to retail sales associates on the features and benefits of client's products

  • Possess strong selling and demonstrating techniques when executing demo day events

  • Build strong partnerships with the store sales associates, providing value through support of your assigned stores

  • Effectively merchandise retail locations with visual displays and in-store promotional material. Must be able to implement and troubleshoot visual merchandising

  • Gather, summarize and report on field and channel feedback and insights on a regular basis, aiding in the growth and support of the brand

  • Collect and report visit data, issues with displays and products, and competitive market data and insights and photos 

  • Complete reports thoroughly and on time using online platform (access to internet and computer required)

  • Coordinate and execute special awareness and sales events at retail locations

  • Participate in ongoing trainings provided by CCS to become a product expert and actively engage with teammates and managers through CCS communication platforms

  • Navigate changing retail environment and adjust in-store tactics to motivate sales

  • Training Ability: One of the key activities will be for employee to train Retail Sales Associates (RSA’s) at various retailers and will require excellent training and presentation skills

  • Sales Ability: Any employee hired will need to be excellent with demonstration, conversion and competitive sales


Scope


  • Store visits will be completed Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am and 6pm (non-peak store hours). During peak season, employee must be able to work weekend assisted selling events

  • Employee will be responsible for visiting each store location within their territory 1 time per week. Travel between locations will be required, with some autonomy around scheduling of visits

  • ASD (Assisted Sales Days) will be required during key drive times such as Q4/Holiday. Weekend availability for 4 hour shifts will be necessary during these times


What You Will Need:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor's Degree of higher is highly preferred, but not required

  • Experience working inside retail locations- preferred experience with home appliances on a brand team or in a retail store

  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and detail

  • Self-driven with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize workload

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Advocates must be detail oriented, committed, natural sales people and not afraid to approach RSA’s or customers

  • Candidate should be tech-savvy with the ability to communicate technology in a meaningful and personal way

  • Candidate should have clear communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Must be able to lift 25+ pounds

  • Access to the internet is required

  • Reliable transportation is required
