Title: Bookkeeping Expert Location: SilverSpring, MD Type: Part time Contract Duration: 1-2 weeks Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Bookkeeping Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The Bookkeeping Expert will be responsible for managing financial records, analyzing, and reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial reports. Job Responsibilities: Manage financial records including accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and other financial documents. Prepare financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Reconcile bank and credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns. Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial reporting regulations. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
