Bell staff are service ambassadors for the hotel. As a representative at the front desk, this position is often the first and last impression for our guest and extends courteous, hospitable service at every encounter throughout a stay.

The role of Bell can provide you with:

A typical shift for Bell may include the following responsibilities:

  • Providing a warm welcome to new arrivals, making guests feel right at home and providing an orientation of the facilities and available services.
  • Escorting guests to their accommodations while assisting with luggage.
  • Assisting with group arrivals through porterage service.
  • Collaborating with the Security team to ensure the safety and security of the property.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a natural aptitude for guest service. The ideal candidate possesses previous experience in hotel/resort bell operations.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • The ability to speak, read and write proficiently in the English language.
  • Strategic time management skills to provide expeditious service while ensuring completion of assigned tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills through various methods including phone and two-way radio etiquette, and proficient written communication skills.
  • The ability to engage in considerable physical activity on a continuous basis including transporting luggage up to 100 lbs of weight.
  • Neat and professional appearance, a genuine Spirit of ALOHA and the desire to serve.
  • As a condition of employment you must be able to satisfy all pre-employment screenings which may include: criminal background check, employment, eligibility verification, drug screening, and personal and professional references.
