The Bell help warmly greets and escorts guest to and from the guestrooms, assisting with luggage and other daily room deliveries as assigned. This position will also be responsible orienting our guest on the facilities and available services, and providing prompt, courteous service at every encounter.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses strong verbal communication skills, a natural aptitude for guest service, a positive and upbeat attitude, and the ability to interact effectively and courteously with Guests, Vendors and other Employees. Previous hotel or resort front desk and/or bell experience strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate is also someone with the following skills and abilities.
- Speak, read, and write in the English language.
- Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and engage in considerable physical activity on a consistent basis.
- Able to pull or push a luggage cart weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to organize and schedule group arrivals and departures for luggage pick up and delivery.
- Maintain and store guest luggage.
- Neat and professional appearance, a genuine Spirit of ALOHA and the desire to serve.
- As a condition of employment you must be able to satisfy all pre-employment screenings; such as criminal background checks, drug screening, and personal and professional references.
