As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to understand their business requirements and translate them into robust architectural designs. Your expertise in AWS services and best practices will enable you to guide and advise on optimal solutions that align with our objectives and technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, understand their business needs, technical requirements, work-with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and constraints.
• Design scalable and secure solutions using AWS services.
• Create high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and AWS guidelines.
• Serve as a technical advisor and provide guidance to development teams, architects, and stakeholders.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure solutions are implemented in line with architectural designs.
• Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and features and evaluate their suitability for various use cases.

• Lead the implementation and deployment of AWS infrastructure components such as EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, Lambda functions, RDS databases, and more.
• Optimize the architecture for performance, cost, and security, leveraging automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including architectural diagrams, design specifications, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure that AWS solutions are designed and implemented with a strong focus on security, data protection, and compliance requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on AWS services, best practices, and cloud architecture.
• Assist in evaluating existing infrastructures, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Foster strong relationships with AWS representatives and stay updated on AWS roadmap, new services, and industry trends.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions on the AWS platform.
• Proven track record in delivering successful cloud projects and solving complex technical challenges.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM, and
• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices.
• Proficient in designing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures on AWS.
• Solid understanding of network design, storage solutions, load balancing, and data replication techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS. Experience in implementing security controls and conducting security assessments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification required.
• Additional AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or SysOps Administrator are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client requirements, identify potential issues, and recommend effective solutions.
