Job title: API Developer

We are looking for a Sr. API Developer to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA. You will be a part of the API Center of Excellence focused on leading the company to an API first architecture. You will be responsible for using and implementing Apigee Edge for the full API lifecycle management. You will design and develop RESTful API, as well as implement API policies and transformation using Apigee Edge.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of application development and implementation experience and 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing high-volume web services using API Protocols and Data Formats (REST, JSON, SOAP & XML). Expert level Restful API knowledge is required, and we use tools like Apigee Edge, so experience there are requirements as well.
