Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team at May I Help You. As an HSE Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our organization. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time role with May I Help You.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Proven experience as an HSE Engineer in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 are highly desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to ensure workplace safety and mitigate environmental impact
• Train employees on safety procedures and guidelines to create a culture of safety awareness
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
• Maintain and update safety data sheets and other relevant documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into projects and operations
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to health, safety, and environment
• Stay updated with industry trends, new regulations, and best practices in HSE management
