The HR Officer supports the HR Manager in driving the people agenda for the assigned business unit(s). The role works closely with leaders to deliver key HR processes, such as advancement planning, performance management and disciplinary actions.
Responsibilities: Assist the HR Manager in executing organizational transformation plans and initiatives including but not limited to reorganization, talent repurposing, advancement planning, talent reviews, career management, coaching, coordination with Operations team, etc. Collaborate with line managers to create succession plans and customize individual development plans for key talents Assist on implementing initiatives related to improving employee engagement and employee experience Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. Please note: You will not be responsible for recruitment, as it will be managed by our Talent Acquisition team. Training responsibilities will be handled by our Learning and Training team, and Compensation and Benefits will be overseen by our HR Services Team and SM Payroll Head Office.
Qualifications: Graduate of Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or equivalent. At least 3-5 years work experience as an HR Generalist, with exposure in Organization Development, Employee Relations/Labor Relations, and HR Business Partnering. Retail industry experience is an advantage.
