ARCO/Murray National Construction Company, LLC seeks Project Manager in Chicago, IL:

Job Duties: Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Estimate, schedule, conduct quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation. Work with the owner early in the process in order to facilitate the design process with the chosen design professionals. Ensure that an accurate and complete estimate for the project is prepared. Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings. Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas. Oversee the buyout process and to selection of subcontractors. Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site to ensure all standards, drawings, and specs are followed. Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control and schedule. Conduct progress meetings with owners and the construction team. Oversee spending and budgets and remain cost-conscious and aware of every aspect of the project at all times. Required domestic travel up to 10 % of the time.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related position.

Special Skill Requirements: 1 year of experience in each of the following: 1) Estimating; 2) Scheduling; 3) Bluebeam; 4) Change order management; and 5) Subcontractor bidding. Required domestic travel up to 10 % of the time.
