Stryker Electric is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources & Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the human resources and payroll functions, ensuring that all processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about current HR and payroll laws and best practices, able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and workers' compensation
  • Oversee and manage the payroll process, including processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and reconciling payroll discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees with questions about HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR and payroll records

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll administration
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations at the federal and state levels
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, preferably ADP
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
