Job Summary

As a truly hybrid role of Project and Account management - The Senior Project Manager position requires an understanding of interdisciplinary team management and excellent client management skills. You will work with our internal team of designers, technologists, and content developers, leading each project to completion via a successful partnership with studio creative directors. Excellent time management, strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain and foster multiple simultaneous client relationships is a requirement. This role is tactical and strategic, and you are part of the front line, representing our studio to clients, vendors and partners..

You know when to drive and when to shadow the creative process. You are a trusted partner to our collaborators. You rigorously design and maintain project plans and budgets and produce comprehensible status reports that mitigate risks and ensure successful delivery of our work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Forge strong and long standing client relationships
  • Carry projects through to successful completion from concept phase to installation
  • Manage 2-3 projects simultaneously
  • Effectively lead project teams in partnership with the Creative Director
  • Own day to day communications with high profile clients and stakeholders
  • Manage multidisciplinary workflow, defining and tracking team tasks and deliverables
  • Draft and execute project Scopes of Work under the supervision of studio leadership
  • Scope, onboard and oversee vendors and subcontractors
  • Build and maintain project budgets with actuals tracking and reporting. Strong ability to deliver projects on or under budget
  • Develop strategic and efficient project timelines and work plans, capturing cross-functional internal and external dependencies
  • Provide and maintain clarity on roles, responsibilities and deliverables during all phases

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to lead as well as collaborate, with an emphasis on clear, efficient communication
  • A strong foundation in design processes, client partnerships and project administration standards
  • Proven success as a manager and a team-builder among partners, clients and staff
  • Proven completion of all design phases (Concept through Production, Installation, and Warranty)
  • Professional composure and ease working with all clients and including executives
  • Strong scheduling and time management skills
  • Excellent writing, document preparation and presentation skills
  • Experience leading multiple projects at one time and comfortable with a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
  • Superior communication skills with excellent interpersonal poise
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Drive/Mail/Docs, Keynote; with working knowledge of 10,000 Ft, Smartsheet, Airtable, Jira

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years experiential and media design project management from concept through installation,
  • The ability to travel within the US and globally for: project installs, client meetings, new business pitches, etc.
  • Must be able to work on-site in our NYC Studio
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Benefits

Salary Range: 90K to 115K Commensurate with experience.
