Whether it’s our products, processes, or people, quality is a part of everything we do.

And helping to ensure we are keeping up with the lofty standards we’ve set requires people who recognize them, value them and insist they are maintained.

Despite our best attempts to meet those standards, we sometimes fall short. We need additions to our QA Team, people who will dig in, find out why we fell short and help pick us back up, dust us off and move us back to those standards.

How is this done?

Through the use of metrics, measuring how we’re doing. Performing root cause analysis and using statistics to determine where improvements are needed. Paying particular attention to process improvement so we can do things better.

Are there trends we need to be aware of? Are there issues with our processes that need to be improved? Do we have the right staff members in the right places?

It’s not simply asking the questions. It’s investigating, researching and digging for the answers. It’s recognizing that sometimes it’s the process that needs to be changed to what we do rather than changing what we do to fit the process.

It's also about production. When we fall short on manufacturing parts, we need to be able to determine the next steps to get us back on track. We need to ensure we are testing our equipment to the highest quality standards, and create all the project documentation and certifications needed to demonstrate compliance.

We are an ISO 9001:2015 company and want to keep it that way. As such, we want to be on top of our related internal and external audits. We want to be aware of what our customers think of us in surveys and link those findings back into demanding improvements that are incorporated into our certifications.

This is where you come in.  If you are a detail-oriented person who likes being the “first responder” when issues arise, if you're seeking a career that will keep you on your toes seeing and learning new things every day, and if you're interested in researching into why problems occur, then you are who we're looking for to join our team!

We are a growing company in the oil and gas industry with plenty of career advancement potential and opportunities.

Welker’s reputation as a leader in our industry was earned through dedication to being the best. “Good enough” just isn’t. We expect more, and provide a fun, relaxed work environment to encourage your best effort.
