MUST HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Strong Power experience with Oracle and/or HANA


• Experience with storytelling by data visualization


• Expertise with Power BI development


• PBI and DAX experience


• Strong design thought and skills


• Familiarity and experience in SQL


• Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS


• Experience building analysis services reporting models


• Experience translating data into informative visuals and reports


• Experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI or Tableau


• Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries


• Experience implementing row level security on data


• Understanding of application security layer models in Power BI


• Proficiency with making DAX queries in Power BI desktop


• Experience developing tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards


• Strong experience developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements


• Understanding of business requirements and can develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources


• Knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis


• Experience integrating Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation


• Experience with developing custom visuals for Power BI


• Knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as


• Microsoft Azure


• SQL data warehouse


• PolyBase


• SAP Design Studio


• SAP HANA


• Exadata etc.

• Team player with the ability to take direction and work independently


• Strong analytical skills

• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.


• Build Analysis Services reporting models.


• Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.


• Connect to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
