The Customer Service Representative will support the CarGurus Pay and Business Development team by helping direct calls and assisting with basic customer service issues. The position requires sending required process documents in a timely manner, answering consumer and staff inquiries and may also fill in to provide support where required. This position requires excellent speaking and customer service skills, as well as the ability to make professional and productive calls throughout the workday.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

include achieving positive results in the following key areas:




  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of AUTOPAYs Mission, Vision and Values.

  • Receive inbound, customer service-oriented calls.

  • Handle customer service inquiries via email and real-time chat.

  • Assist clients with product cancellations.

  • Must be familiar with all AUTOPAY departments

  • Must be able to reach individuals throughout the company via several different methods

  • Ability to speak clearly and be responsive to customer requests.

  • Must learn the company dialer system and software.

  • Assist customers with reaching their appropriate agent.

  • Provide resolution to customers with service issues or complaints.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to each customer.

  • Additional duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Education: High school diploma, or equivalent. Associates or bachelors degree preferred.

  • Experience: Experience in business development, customer service, call centers or sales.

  • Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Ability to speak read and write fluent English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company. Excellent presentation skills.

  • Analytical: Detail-oriented with ability to organize, prioritize and work independently. Strong critical thinking skills.

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Technical: Proficient with Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel ability.

  • Other: High level of personal motivation, professionalism, and integrity required. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment. Must be able to work independently.
