Title: Field Service Tech

Location: Delta, PA

Role: 6+ months

Description:

  • The Field Service Representative (FSR) will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance support for the client.
  • This position will include maintenance work on and around nuclear plant discharge pond.
  • Looking for an individual that is mechanically/electrically inclined with hands on experience.
  • Expectation is for individual to be a self-starter and have a strong ability to work alone, oversee daily operations and be responsible for completing all daily tasks to properly support customer operations.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Mechanically/electrically inclined
  • Follow all EHS work rules including LOTO, 2-minute drill and pre-job briefs.
  • Work on a boat and around water.
  • Occasional transfer of chemical
  • Assist with specialty projects during plant outages, will require extended work hours
  • Pass Fit For Duty testing
  • Obtain Nuclear security clearance

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Periodically "on call" for emergencies to support customer operations (as needed)
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service and results oriented.
  • Team player, hands-on, self-motivated.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain Nuclear security clearance if selected for the position
  • Familiarity with water treatment processing.
  • Ability to read and interpret instruction manuals, safety manuals, etc.
  • Mechanically inclined, experience with pump repair, PVC piping experience
  • Willing to submit to a background investigation (Motor vehicle record, criminal, education and prior employment), physical evaluation and drug screen.
  • Possess unrestricted authorization to work in country of posting.
  • The candidate must be willing to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter.
  • Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to refineries, industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities.
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Technical Training/Education highly preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working on a boat is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
