1) To conduct all pre employment medical checkup of employees
2) Conduct regular health checkup off employees working in the factory
3) To conduct Awareness campaigns on various Health & First Aid etc.
4) To conduct Occupational Health Surveys. To participate in HIRA process.
5) Handling Medical cases ( First Aid & serious injury if any)
6) Responsible for effective functioning of Medical centre and nurses.
7) Responsible for to up-keep readiness of Medical centre first Aid boxes and ambulance
8) Factory Medical Officer will report to Head
Clinical and Head Ehs on daily medical reporting
9)Member of the safety committee meeting - Responsible for communication of health record analysis on monthly basis
10) To arrange Medical Health check up camps as per statutory requirements. Maintain record in FORM no 07.
11) Analysis of Medical Report of Employees and guidance/ awareness on the health issue if any to concern employees.
12. To know about the factories act 1948 ( Sec 89 & 90)
Which provides the list of notifiable diseases.
13. Form 17- Health Register.( Periodic Exam Hazardous)
14. Form 27 Accident register ( maybe will be with EHS).
15.Form 39 Pre employment check up where ever applicable.
16.Forem 40 Canteen Workers Health If there is other
Vendor the AFIH should see the same and validate.
17.The act also differs from Manufacturing industry like
Automobile / educational institutions/ food and snacks
Manufacturing and hence the doctor should have good
Experience to handle the Audit if it a OHC with a lone
