1. and interfaces and testing Facets inbound and outbound EDI transactions like 834 (Enrolment & Eligibility), 835 (Claims Payment and Remittance Advice), 837 (Claims & Encounters), 270/271 (Eligibility Enquiry and Response), 276/277 (Claims Enquiry and Response), 278 (Prior Authorization) and validating implementation of complex business rules for ITS (InterPlan Teleprocessing Systems) claims processing. Executing end-to-end systems integration and regression tests which include Restful Web Services testing in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) using SoapUI, Insomnia and RestAssured framework. Performing Web testing for client's web portals such as Employer portal, Member portal, Provider portal, Producer portal and the corresponding back end database for the web portals.
2. Ensuring availability of enough test data by performing data provisioning tasks applying the Test Data Management expertise and utilizing unique data analysis techniques derived from experience-based algorithms. Developing SQL queries for backend validations, generating validation scripts for data extract files - XML and JSON using Cognizant proprietary tools, coordinate and request data for quality assurance.
3. Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems configurations and operating methods as well as understanding evolving business needs, analyzing requirements gathered from business team and other stakeholders. Defining appropriate test strategy to detail the test approach, creating test plans and test cases, and reviewing all test assets for completeness and quality and effort savings through automation of repetitive tasks.
4. Follow processes created by Cognizant's project manager to validate end-to-end high level scenarios and business requirements, fulfilling process activities in JlRA, analyzing test results, raising defects, performing Root Cause Analysis, tracking defects to closure, and generating test summary reports.
5. Leading Quality Assurance team, implementing best practices in Agile framework, mentoring team to adopt agile principles effectively to improve quality and reliability of deliverables. Providing status updates, impediment details, estimates and schedules for QA Team in agile practice sessions - Daily Standup and Sprint Planning.
