Reporting to the CFO, the FP&A Manager will lead forecasting, budgeting, performance measurement, and financial analysis. This position will provide business and financial support to a high-growth, venture-backed technology company.

Prerequisites:

  • You are an entrepreneur embodied, and a ninja across excel, metrics, and systems
  • You are a true builder that can roll up their sleeves to get the job done
  • Proven track record of building, managing, and leading mission critical budget, forecasting, and other analyses vital to business and finance operations
  • Experience working in fast paced teams and comfortable in startup environment
  • A hackers mentality. You obsess over finding novel ways to efficiently scale every programeven when conventional wisdom says youre wrong

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with CFO and other Tapcheck leaders to continue building and evolving FP&A infrastructure, internal financial management models, and reporting tools and frameworks
  • Oversee and own monthly reporting and forecasting process, and ensure consistent monthly communication of results, forecasts and action plans to leaderships and other business partners
  • Communicate financial results and insights to a wide range of leadership through concise and effective storytelling of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow drivers.
  • Partner with internal teams and third parties to identify and develop KPIs/dashboards to spot trends and unlock actionable insights
  • Build and own various new operational processes, such as revenue recognition, weekly KPI reporting, investor updates
  • Translate key business goals into actionable products, design and develop models and produce ongoing and recurring reports for internal use by business teams
  • Create definable and trackable KPIs and reporting tools tied to business goals and the companys strategic plan, and be able to communicate so-whats to leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in finance and/or business operations roles
  • A growth mindset and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Consistent record for innovation, execution, and delivering results to a performance-driven culture
  • Progressive budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling experience
  • Ability to navigate around any new ERP, FP&A, CRM systems we add over time
  • Experience in working BI dashboards and creating professional grade deliverables for business leaders
  • Deep comfort level working in a cross-functional role with a highly distributed team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Highly organized, great attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Self-starter, self-motivated and a team player
  • Bonus: SQL knowledge and experience
  • Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, MBA preferred
